“I have a bad feeling about this.”
“Shut up, Romania. I’m trying to concentrate—argh! Dammit! This is your fault, Romania!”
“What did I do?” Romania demanded indignantly, as England tried to scrub the purple scorch marks from his face.
“You distracted me, you nit wit!”
“That’s not my fault!”

Hiro’s shoulders slumped with relief as the cave exit finally came into sight. The sky beyond was dark grey, but it seemed there was still enough daylight to show the way out. She couldn’t wait to get out. She was starting to develop claustrophobia, and it had only been a few hours.
They paused just a few meters short of the exit, and Hiro started to hear the tell-tale whisper of rain on the grass outside. Matsuba’s litwick gave an unhappy chirp, and the gym leader obligingly let her back into her pokeball. On Hiro’s shoulder, Crina was leaning forward, her large ears swiveling to and fro.

It was late. In your lap, Emil snored gently, having fallen asleep shortly before. The fire was dying down, but getting up to add more wood would wake the boy. So the reason I haven't been active lately is because I've been in Russia. (It was a language-learning student program type thing.) Anyway, I'm back now, so yay! ^^
I was a derp and spilled water on my laptop. I'm not sure if it's fixable or if I'll have to get a new one, but either way, I'll likely be inactive for a while. Even without that, school's eating me alive, so yeah, there's that too. Thanks for being patient, and I'll be back, hopefully soon. c:
